I worked in hospitals most of my life, even though I wasn't a medical practitioner myself. I met many people battling chronic illness on a daily basis. While I had great empathy for their struggles, it wasn't until I was diagnosed with one myself that I learned just how it feels to have an illness that has no cure. Thankfully, I have been doing very well and the medications I take to control my illness have allowed me to live a live that feels like I am disease-free. I recently retired, and I was inspired to create a blog to share what I've learned about managing chronic illness. I think everyone could use some good health advice and not everyone has a family member or friend to give it to them. I hope you can learn a lot from my blog posts and I can help you stay healthy!
